MORE ON THE FAIREST CAPE

More on the Fairest Cape

I have decided to take a break from my efforts at e-marketing to write another post on the Fairest Cape.

For those of you who enjoy hiking, and any form of water sport, then the Western Cape is for you. The summer training ground for professional windsurfers and kite boarders, and the host of numerous international events, Cape Town and the Western Cape, offer a wide variety of activities and entertainment for young and old alike. If one travels east through the beautiful garden Route, there are plenty of lovely hiking trails, not to mention the annual Whale festival in Hermanus around September.

A short drive off the Garden route takes you to ostrich country and the Kango caves, always worth a visit.

The Waterfront in Cape Town has one of the best aquariums in the world, a newly developed yacht marina, with high class residential developments, and a great festive season program.

If you enjoy crayfish(lobster) then the best place is along the West Coast up to Lamberts bay, where the annual lobster festival will be held from 23-25 April 2009.

Of course the biggest upcoming highlight is the 2010 Soccer World Cup, which begins around June(2010:-).

For your convenience here is a list of all major hotels in Cape town, or visit Agodo.com for all booking requirements.
